Greetings
I was motivated by friends to contest election of national council member of Institution of Engineers  so that I get a proper platform to act for betterment of the Institution and Engineers . I was in your touch during electoral process ,you all liked my views as per  the feedback I got . 17th November was the day declared for counting of Votes . Surprisingly since then , even after contacting concerns result was not informed .I have come to know from  few fellow contestants that my name is not in winning list .

Friends you Voted in election , I contested election so it is our natural right to know the results immediate after  counting of Votes . Not declaration of results misleads to intentions . Electoral process needs reforms and transparency.

Please drop a mail to chairman Board of scrutiny Er Berry  hcsberry@rediffmail.com and sdg@ieindia.in with a copy to me  to inform the election results .

    आप जानते हैं कि  इंस्टीट्यूशन आफ इंजीनियर्स के काउंसिल मेम्बर के चुनाव में  मै मित्रो के आग्रह पर आप सब के सहयोग से इस उद्देश्य से खड़ा हुआ था कि एक नई उर्जा का संचार संस्था में किया जावे तथा समाज में इंजीनियर्स को प्रतिष्ठित महत्वपूर्ण स्थान मिले तथा इंस्टीट्यूशन की गतिविधियो को समाजोन्मुख बनाया जावे . मैने पूरे इलेक्शन के निर्धारित समय काल में बार बार आप सब से ई संपर्क किया , आपके प्रत्युत्तरो से लगा कि ज्यादातर सदस्य मेरे प्रस्ताव से सहमत हैं .
    दिनांक १७ नवम्बर २०१६  को मतो की गणना की गई , मैने तब से मेल व फोन से बार बार चुनाव परिणाम जानने के लिये कलकत्ता मुख्यालय मे संबंधितो से संपर्क किया किन्तु वेबसाइट व मोबाइल के इस समय में भी इंजीनियर्स की शीर्ष संस्था जिसने देश में सर्वप्रथम ई वोटिंग की प्रक्रिया अपनाई है , ने अब तक चुनाव परिणाम गुप्त रखे हैं यह आश्चर्यकारी है , व इंगित करता है कि चुनाव प्रक्रिया में संशोधन तथा पारदर्शिता की जरूरत है . मुझे अब तक इंस्टीट्यूशन से चुनाव परिणाम के संबंध में कोई सूचना नही दी गई है . अन्य जो उम्मीदवार चुनाव लड़ रहे थे उनमें से किसी से ज्ञात हुआ कि मेरा नाम विजयी सदस्यो में शामिल नहीं है .
        मैं हृदय से उन दोस्तो का आभार व्यक्त करना चाहता हूं जिन्होने मुझ पर विश्वास व्यक्त किया .मैं प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त करना चाहता हूं कि फैलो सदस्य के रूप में मैं संस्था  व इंजीनियर्स की प्रतिष्ठा हेतु निरंतर कार्य करता रहूंगा , आप से निवेदन है कि इस दिशा में निसंकोच मेरे संपर्क में रहें .

इंस्टीट्यूशन आफ इंजीनियर्स के नेशनल काउंसिल इलेक्शन सिविल सदस्य चुनने की वोटिंग की प्रक्रिया के संदर्भ में आप सब से पिछले कुछ समय से एस एम एस , तथा ईमेल के जरिये संपर्क में हूं . आशा करता हूं कि  घड़ी की सुइयों और नम्बरों के इर्द गिर्द घूमती अपनी व्यस्त दिनचर्या में से कुछ समय निकाल कर मेरे ब्लाग http://nomorepowertheft.blogspot.com पर आपने सर्फिंग की होगी .मुझे खुशी होगी यदि मुझे ब्लाग पर फालो करेंगे , जिससे बाद में भी हम लगातार संपर्क में रहें आवें . इस बार चुने गये सदस्यो के कार्यकाल में ही इंस्टीट्यूशन का शताब्दि वर्ष २०२० मनाया जाना है .
5 सदस्यो के चयन हेतु 41 उम्मीदवारो ने नामांकन प्रस्तुत किये हैं . सभी के बायोडाटा तो एक दूसरे से बढ़चढ़ कर हैं . अतः आपको बहुत सूक्ष्म अध्ययन करके बड़ी जिम्मेदारी से वोट करने की जरूरत है . आपको ही तय करना है कि  चुना गया सदस्य आपके सतत संपर्क में रहने वाला , सहज सुलभ और कुछ नया करने की उर्जा से ओतप्रोत हो . काउंसिल मात्र वैसी ही औपचारिक फोरम बनकर न रह जावे जैसी विगत कुछ लम्बे समय से बनकर रह गई है . केवल अपने बायोडाटा को आकर्षक बनाने हेतु ही चुने गये सदस्य इस सदस्यता का उपयोग न करें यह आपके कीमती वोट से ही तय होना है .
इलेक्ट्रानिक वोटिंग करने के बाद भी यदि आप हार्ड कापी बैलेट से वोट करते हैं तो प्रावधानो के अनुसार हार्ड कापी से किया गया वोट मान्य होगा . आप अधिकतम 5 सदस्य चुन सकते हैं . हार्ड कापी से वोट करें तो चुने गये उम्मीदवार के सम्मुख चौकोर बाक्स को पूरा काला या नीला करें तथा दिये गये निर्देशो के अनुसार हस्ताक्षरित काउंटर स्लिप व फोटो आई डी भी सफेद लिफाफे में रखकर ही पोस्ट करें .
मेरा पुनः निवेदन है कि अपना वोट अपने विवेक के अनुसार स्वयं प्रयोग करें मित्रो को भी अपना बैलेट यूं ही न दे देंवे .

 I have approached yourself with my manifesto earlier .

I am surprised to see that  few contestants are reaching making self elected groups which is totally non ethical as IEI has invited nominations of individuals to be elected by respected corporate members  , few are not afraid even  asking signed ballots along with ids  in whatsapp groups & through emails too .Some office bearers of local centers have used there office to convince on there behalf .  looking all this, I request  Please not  to handover your ballot  to any one .

We members of Institution should proud that we have Electronic Voting system .I suggest to please Vote electronically and destroy physical ballot which will come to you by post .

 You might have received the login id & Voting password , Please Vote at www.ieindia.org .

I request ,Let Your unbiased VOTE  with wisdom should decide the individual contestants as elected MEMBERS it is for next 5 years of the Council .

Sir , I am from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, one of the contestant for council member CIVIL of Institution of Engineers India.

I was the founder President of Student chapter of Institution of Engineers at N I T Raipur, we published a yearly magazine, organized photography competition and  successfully organized  seminars. I did my BE  civil honours  from Raipur N I T  batch of 1980.Thereafter  post graduation  in Foundations from MANIT  Bhopal .Diploma in Management from IGNOU . I am BEE certified Energy Manager .I did a short term courses on Pilferage  of Electricity from Engineering Staff College  Hyderabad .I did courses of CAD and Computer programming too. I am fellow of Institution of Engineers and life member of SEEM .

Friends , I got the privilege of getting  prestigious award for creative writing and social activities of Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy and Godfrey Phillips. BIJLI KA BADALTA PARIDRISHYA , AAKROSH ,RAMBHAROSE, KOUA KAN LE GAYA ,HINDOSTA HAMARA ,JADOO SHIKSHA KA , MERE PRIY VYANG , are amongst  few of my published books , most of them are also available in Daily Hunt mobile app . You will agree Friends , that the  dignity of Engineering community is fallen in general , in last few decades . It is the time to think and work for reestablishment the importance of engineers in society . Involvement of engineering students in various activities of Institution , using  public platforms , efforts to built the self confidence amongst  the  engineers  are required. रायपुर N I T से १९८० में बी ई सिविल आनर्स और  MANIT भोपाल से फाउंडेशनइंजीनियरिंग में पोस्ट ग्रेडुएशन करने के बाद मैने म. प्र. विद्युत मण्डल में नौकरी प्रारंभ की . वर्तमान में म.प्र.पूर्व क्षेत्र विद्युत वितरण कंपनी में अतिरिक्त मुख्य अभियंता के रूप में सिविल विंग के मुखिया के रूप में सेवारत हूं . IGNOU से १९९२ में मैनेजमेंट में डिप्लोमा किया तथा २००७ में ब्युरो आफ इनर्जी एफीशियेंशी से इनर्जी मैनेजर की परीक्षा पास की .कम्प्यूटर कोर्स तथा सी कैड के कोर्सेज भी मैने किये हैं . इंजीनियरिंगस्टाफ कालेज हैदराबाद से पिलफ्रेज आफ इलेक्ट्रिसिटी पर  शार्ट टर्म कोर्स भी किया ,  समय समय पर अनेक सेमीनारो में हिस्सेदारी भी की है.

मण्डला जिले में बन रहे चुटका परमाणु बिजलीघर का  परियोजना प्रतिवेदन तैयार करने का अवसर मुझे  मिला . मुझे गर्व है कि  मेरे द्वारा तैयार परियोजनाओ में से भीमगढ़ , चरगांव जटलापुर आदि पन बिजली घर निरंतर विद्युत

उत्पादन कर रहे हैं .मध्यप्रदेश में  २४ घंटे विद्युत आपूर्ति की महत्वाकांक्षी अटल ज्योति योजना के क्रियांवयन में भी मैं सक्रियता से जुड़ा रहा हूं .

मुझे म. प्र. साहित्य अकादमी तथा गाडफ्रे फिलिप्स के प्रतिष्ठित पुरुस्कार रचनात्मक लेखन व सामाजिक कार्यो हेतु मिल चुके हैं . रायपुर इंजीनियरिंग में मैं इंस्टीट्यूशन आफ इंजीनियर्स के स्टूडेंट चैप्टर का संस्थापक प्रेसीडेंट चुना गया था , और इस रूप में हमने वहां पत्रिका का प्रकाशन , फोटोग्राफी काम्पटीशन व सेमीनार जैसे कई सफल आयोजन किये थे .

इंस्टीट्यूशन का इतिहास बेहद गौरव पूर्ण रहा है , हमारे आयोजनो में आजादी से पहले वायसराय आफ इण्डिया व स्वतंत्र भारत में हमारे राष्ट्रपति व प्रधानमंत्री भी शामिल होते रहे हैं . पिछले कुछ दशको में अभियंताओ की सामाजिक स्थिति में गिरावट परिलक्षित हो रही है , जिससे इंजीनियर्स का मनोबल कमजोर हुआ है . हमें पुनः वह महत्व अर्जित करना है .  आप सब के सहयोग से ही यह पुनरोत्थान संभव है .

मैं इस दिशा में कुछ ठोस करना चाहता हूं , उसके लिये मुझे इंस्टीट्यूशन जैसे स्तरीय मंच की आवश्यकता है .इसलिये मै इंस्टीट्यूशन के सिविल डीवीजन के काउंसिल इलेक्शन में चुने जाने के लिये आपके समर्थन का आकांक्षी हूं ,मेरा प्रयास होगा कि तकनीकी विषयो को जनभाषा में प्रस्तुत करने तथा इंस्टीट्यूशन की गतिविधियो से छात्रो व आम नागरिको को जोड़ने में विशेष योगदान दे सकूं . इंस्टीट्यूशन की सदस्यता बढ़ाना और सभी सदस्यो के बीच सघन परस्पर परिचय बढ़ाना , समाज में इंजीनियर्स के महत्व को पुनर्स्थापित करना मेरी प्राथमिकता होगी .इस हेतु न केवल तकनीकी विषयो पर सेमीनार वरन इंजीनियर्स का मनोबल बढ़ाने जैसे विषयो पर खुली बहस व सेमीनार आयोजित किये जा सकते हैं . इस संबंध में आप सबके विचारो का हार्दिक स्वागत है .

रायपुर N I T से १९८० में बी ई सिविल आनर्स और  MANIT भोपाल से फाउंडेशन इंजीनियरिंग में पोस्ट ग्रेडुएशन करने के बाद मैने म. प्र. विद्युत मण्डल में नौकरी प्रारंभ की . वर्तमान में म.प्र.पूर्व क्षेत्र विद्युत वितरण कंपनी में अधीक्षण अभियंतa के रूप में सेवारत हूं . IGNOU से १९९२ में मैनेजमेंट में डिप्लोमा किया तथा २००७ में ब्युरो आफ इनर्जी एफीशियेंशी से इनर्जी मैनेजर की परीक्षा पास की . कम्प्यूटर कोर्स तथा सी कैड के कोर्सेज भी मैने किये हैं . इंजीनियरिंग स्टाफ कालेज हैदराबाद से पिलफ्रेज आफ इलेक्ट्रिसिटी पर  शार्ट टर्म कोर्स भी किया ,  अनेक सेमीनारो में हिस्सेदारी भी की .
मण्डला जिले में बन रहे चुटका परमाणु बिजलीघर का  परियोजना प्रतिवेदन तैयार करने का अवसर मुझे  मिला . मुझे गर्व है कि  मेरे द्वारा तैयार परियोजनाओ में से भीमगढ़ , चरगांव जटलापुर आदि पन बिजली घर निरंतर विद्युत उत्पादन कर रहे हैं .मध्यप्रदेश में  २४ घंटे विद्युत आपूर्ति की महत्वाकांक्षी अटल ज्योति योजना के क्रियांवयन में भी मैं सक्रियता से जुड़ा रहा हूं .मुझे म. प्र. साहित्य अकादमी तथा गाडफ्रे फिलिप्स के प्रतिष्ठित पुरुस्कार रचनात्मक लेखन व सामाजिक कार्यो हेतु मिल चुके हैं .
रायपुर इंजीनियरिंग में मैं इंस्टीट्यूशन आफ इंजीनियर्स के स्टूडेंट चैप्टर का संस्थापक प्रेसीडेंट चुना गया था , और इस रूप में हमने वहां पत्रिका का प्रकाशन , फोटोग्राफी काम्पटीशन व सेमीनार जैसे कई सफल आयोजन किये थे .

मै इंस्टीट्यूशन के सिविल डीवीजन के काउंसिल इलेक्शन में चुने जाने के लिये आपके समर्थन का आकांक्षी हूं ,  मेरा प्रयास होगा कि तकनीकी विषयो को जनभाषा में प्रस्तुत करने तथा इंस्टीट्यूशन की गतिविधियो से छात्रो व आम नागरिको को जोड़ने में विशेष योगदान दे सकूं . इंस्टीट्यूशन की सदस्यता बढ़ाना और सभी सदस्यो के बीच सघन परस्पर परिचय बढ़ाना , समाज में इंजीनियर्स के महत्व को पुनर्स्थापित करना मेरी प्राथमिकता होगी .
